Enhancing the A303

Bob has given his full backing to South West business leaders' calls for the next Parliament to deliver on repeated promises to enhance the A303 . Having campaigned vocally for several years to improve the A303, Bob has long highlighted the economic importance of connecting this vital route properly to the whole South West region.

Bob said: "The latest call from South West Chamber of Commerce, South West Business leaders and other regional lobby groups can count on my 100% support. If elected I will continue to fight for enhancing A303 as I did in the last Parliament."

When the House of Commons adjourned for last year's summer recess, the cracks were already showing and badly. It had been a trying time for us all. The MPs' expenses saga had shaken people's trust in politicians. Soaring unemployment was hammering home the extent of our economic mess.
