Bob has also been closely involved with local tributes to our brave men and women; he raised the official North Dorset flag on Armed services Day last year, took part as always in Remembrance Day services and the “Freedom” ceremony for The Rifles. and ordinary soldiers who are serving us all. Bob has doubts about the Afghan strategy, but he has been steadfast in his support for all our young men and women there and the sacrifices they are making. Bob has been a champion of the local defence industry and the contribution it makes to the local economy.
