The battle to save our green belt, threatened by the Regional special Strategy has been a bitter one. A Conservative government will abolish the RSS development targets and restore planning decisions to local communities. The challenge of climate change will be central to the policies of the next conservative government. Bob has supported the RSPCA Freedom Foods campaign and honest food labelling Bob has supports local shops in stopping under age drinking Although the initial threat to rural pharmacies was seen off Bob Walter is determined to defend health services in our small towns and villages.

The 2010 Green Flag Awards have just been celebrated across the country with The Milldown in Blandford flying the Green Flag for North Dorset.

IN MY VIEW
When the House of Commons adjourned for last year's summer recess, the cracks were already showing and badly. It had been a trying time for us all. The MPs' expenses saga had shaken people's trust in politicians. Soaring unemployment was hammering home the extent of our economic mess.
